Get Better Exposure in Yahoo

I am offering you to participate in my unique experiment with Yahoo Pipes - brand new technology that is being aggressively promoted by Yahoo today. This is a brand new experiment, and later on you will find out why it's great to be among the first.


Aim of Experiment:

Get better exposure, receive targeted traffic and find more partners using Yahoo Pipes technology.


Details of Experiment:

Yahoo Pipes is the new technology of working with feeds, described by Yahoo as "feeds aggrerator and manipulator." Without getting deep into techy details I can say that this invention is very useful for doing any operations with feeds, without great programming knowledge I managed to brainstorm some good ideas of using this invention.

One of the ideas I am going to share with you.

I plan to give maximum exposure to link exchange directories of your web sites with the Yahoo Pipe that I created for this experiment.

I am creating the base of web sites (and hope to see your web sites in it). This base thanks to Yahoo Pipe technology is SEARCHABLE which means that all people who will be visiting my Pipe will be able to submit keywords and find sites-partners to build links and - who knows - maybe doing more of a business together.

Advantages of Doing it via Yahoo Pipe.

(1) Better Exposure in Yahoo.

Get better indexing from Yahoo; to the very bottom of all your directories. If you ever had problems with Yahoo indexing all your directory pages, this is not a problem now. Yahoo is so focused on promoting Yahoo Pipes today that they are giving big credit to the sites that participate in it.

PROOFS - surely I wanted to test how it works. I submitted testing article to one article directory, and the next day I saw the backlink of this article in the Yahoo Pipe of the guy who is collecting this type of info. THE NEXT DAY! Long before my article got indexed by Google, MSN and by Yahoo in the article directory - it took them several days.

So it means that Yahoo is indexing its Pipes materials like crazy. And with the help of my Pipe you will be at least sure that all your directories are indexed by Yahoo till the very bottom. The more indexed they are, the more value they have for you and your potential link partners.

(2) Traffic from Yahoo.

I cannot guarantee that my Yahoo Pipe will become the biggest hit of the Internet. But what I can say is that more and more people use Yahoo Pipes to find the info they need - everything depends upon what exactly this or that Pipe will be offering.

We are offering quality - shortcut to real web sites who are highly probable to build links with good and relevant sites. Even you can use my Pipe to find more sites-partners, but the bigger advantage of it will be the daily growing Yahoo Pipe traffic that is covering different niches. These people via my Pipe will be funneled to your site(s).

I am not talking about link partners only. Traffic is traffic, someone may be visiting your site to build links, like the business and do a JV.

(3) Traffic from this Experiment.

This blog and Experiment itself will be promoted. It means that my Pipe will be getting the traffic not only from the people who search the collection of Pipes, but also from the people who hear about this blog and/or Experiment.


Plan of Experiment.

There are two ways how you can participate:

(1) Easy

and

(2) Techy


Easy way is really simple. All you need is send me RSS feeds of your link directory(ies) and I will manually add them to the searchable base inside my Yahoo Pipe.

(If you don't have RSS feed, this is sad. Because we are living in 21st century when RSS technology has proven its Internet marketing and SEO effect in different spheres; link building including. But if you are in trouble and your directory does not have auto-updated RSS feed, there are plenty of tools that do it. I can recommend free version of my tool http://www.autolinkexchanger.com - it has this feature. Or you can get any other modern solution and most of them have this feature.)

Techy way is for those who like to play with new inventions themselves and have time for it. No problems, I am one of those guys and give you a chance if you wish.

Below is the detailed step-by-step plan how you can do that.


Step 1.

If you don't have Yahoo ID, get it. It's free and very easy and will serve you for decades. Just go to http://www.yahoo.com/ and click 'Sign Up' in the right upper corner of the site.


Step 2.

Go to my Yahoo Pipe http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.info?_id=2iPKXDXS2xGhBS2ry6ky6g

Step 3 (optional).

You can see my Pipe in action and put your keyword into the search form shown on the picture #1.

Submit, for example, "internet" and you will see real sites, potential link partners that are standing on MY SITES. Which means when people click the links, they will get to MY SITES. Or YOUR SITES when you add your directory feed to my base.


Step 4.

Click "Clone" link like shown on picture #2 to create your own copy of this Pipe so that you could add RSS feed of your link directories to the base yourself.

Step 5.

After clicking "Clone" you get inside the visual editor where you work with Pipes. To add your RSS feed, click "+" like shown on picture #3. This will open the blank line to submit your RSS feed - submit it. If you have more feeds, click "+" and submit feeds till you are over.

Step 6.

To save the changes and make the base work again click "Save" and then "Publish" like shown on picture #4.

That's it! Your feed/site is added!!

Hey, But Why is it Great to be Among the First?

All other people who would join and or clone my Pipe will be using the base that is inside this Pipe. This means all who join this experiment and my Pipe after you still work for your benefit, because they popularize your feeds together with the feeds of other people up in the list.

And it's not any pyramid, because the base does not need to grow all the time to produce effect. The bigger the base, the better. But when it has nice amount of web sites in - it already produces big value to Yahoo and its users - hence, Yahoo visits this Pipe more and more, hence your Yahoo exposure and traffic increase.
